BlackHawk® HellStorm S.O.L.A.G. (Special Operations Light Assault Glove) Half Finger Gloves are new and improved design & materials enhance fit, function, and durability. Synthetic material construction is durable, provides excellent grip on wet surfaces, and dries quickly, making it ideal for waterborne ops.
BlackHawk® HellStorm S.O.L.A.G. Half Finger gloves have an over-wrap fingertip design keeps the seam away from the fingertips to ensure maximum tactility and durability.
Dual back-of-hand and wrist adjustments make it one of the most form fitting and secure gloves on the market. Nylon loop on wrist allows easy donning and attachment to carabiners.
The BlackHawk® HellStorm S.O.L.A.G. Full Finger 2006 model gloves have the following upgrades from earlier models.
1. The finger tips (SOLAG Full Finger only) now have an “Over-Wrap” design with two advantages
-This eliminates the seams on the fingertips to enhance tactility (touch).
-It reinforces the fingertip to prevent the wearer’s fingernails from wearing through the fingertips a.k.a. “Fingertip Blow-Outs”.
2. Palm material has been upgraded to a double layered, ergonomically cut
Clarino™ synthetic leather that dries quickly performs very well in wet conditions.
3. Ergonomically placed 4mm molded EVA foam padding covered with Clarino™
synthetic leather has been added to the back of the hand and fingers for increased protection from previous models which contained much less protective 1mm “open-cell” foam padding.
4. Back of Hand hook and loop closure has been moved upward to eliminate gap found on previous models.
5. Drastically improved fit with longer fingers and improved thumb position for substantially improved dexterity and reduced stress on the glove seams.
6. All models now have a nylon web loop on the palm side of the glove to allow easy donning and attachment to carabineers.
7. Wrist wrap webbing material is much softer and pliable than the previous model S.O.L.A.G.s and has a new synthetic leather pull tab for ease of use and comfort.
GLOVE SIZING
1. Wrap a tape measure around your knuckles or the widest part of your hand and make a loose fist.
2. Round that measurement to the nearest inch.
3. Compare to these measuremets to find your fit:
9"+ Medium
10"+ Large
11"+ X-Large
12"+ XX-Large

"SATISFIED CUSTOMERS "I've been using Hellstorm S.O.L.A.G.s for about 6 months now and I can say from the start that it's an excellent glove. During a few cold weather excersizes I was able to slip on the Army-issue inserts under them to keep warm and they kept my hands mostly high and dry, even when things got wet. They're tough too! One of my gloves ended up falling on a heater and nte outer layer of leather on the palm now has several cuts in it, I've still worn and used them as normal and I just can't seem to tear them up!"
