“These are really very good. They are a notch down from the standard Taclite Pro pants, in tactile profile. The material is thinner, more suited for casual wear, but still very resistant to wear and dirt, more relaxing, and has a nice feel to it. The legs aren't laden with massive cargo style pockets, so it gives an overall less obvious 'tactical look', better for blending in.
It doesn't have the knee pad pockets, but you wouldn't be wearing these pants if you needed that. It does have extra slim recesses on the rear pockets, useful for the odd screwdriver or ruler, etc.
The best bit is the two pockets on the very front, next to the main pockets, that are perfect for a phone or other small tool you may need quick access to. Once you've used those, you never want to go back to slipping your phone in a normal pocket!”

“Love these pants; working in the middle east these mix functionality with practicality. Lightweight and comfortable they do the job perfectly if your working jobs that require smart casual dress. My only request for nightgear is to bring some other colour”

“Thought I'd give these Jean Cut Pants a try and am glad I did. They are a great addition to the 5.11 pants line. I find them comfortable, smart and the material lightweight. Only downside for me is the cut of the front pockets. I'm more used to ”
